January 2010 Events:

• Polar Bear Plunge January 1th, 2010 at 12noon... Happy New Year !!! Ready, Set, Go !!! Jump into the Atlantic Ocean with hundreds of others to ring in the New Year. Wear your bathing suit, PJ's, or your favorite costume. This is a very popular and fun filled event. All ages are welcomed...
• Randy "Hatman Smith -January 1st, 2010- Music on The Pier starts at 1pm with this local favorite followed by "The Tam's". Randy plays from 1pm to 3pm.
• The Tam's on the Pier -January 1st, 2010- 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm- Can you think of a better way to "Ring" that's right "Ring in the New Year than with "The Tam's" ? With hits like "Be Young,Be Foolish, Be Happy" and "What kind of Fool" this band is a definite crowd pleaser !! Come on down !! Let's sing and dance to a Happy New Year ! This concert is FREE !!!
• Game Day Pub Crawl -January 2nd , 2010 Attention All Football  Fans - Pick your favorite Pub on Tybee Island and hang with the crowds to watch all the Football Games. Make Doc's Bar your first stop !!! Sure to be a great time..

February 2010 Events:

• Critz Tybee Run- February 6, 2010- This 5K race starts at 6:30am at The Tybee Island Lighthouse and will finish on 16th Street.
• Mardi Gras Tybee- February 12th & 13th, 2010-Join the fun for the 2nd Annual Mardi Gra Festivities. Will include a Masquerade Ball, Mardi Gras Parade and Street Party. Wear your Purple, Gold, and Green. There will be FREE Entertainment. For more information go to www.mardigrastybee.com
• Tie the Knot on Tybee Island IV- February 14, 2010- The evening of Valentine's Romance. Group Weddings, Vow Renewal's and more.For more information visit www.Tietheknotontybee.com

March 2010 Events:

• Tybee Island Irish Heritage Parade- March 13th, 2010- 3pm... There will be lots of Irish families marching along with bands, bagpipers, floats, and The Alee Temple Shriners. This is a must see and a great family fun-filled event.

April 2010 Events:

• 6th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Tybee Beach Run- April 6th, 2010  This is a fundraiser for the Tybee Island Sea Turtle Project and a kick-off for Coastal Georia's Sea Turtle Nesting Season.

May 2010 Events:

• World Famous Beach Bum Parade- May 21st, 2010 -6pm   A wet and wild adventure like nothing you have ever experienced. Wear your bathing suit for this parade because you will get wet !!! This parade kicks off the Summer and is one of our largest events. Locals and people from all over come down to enjoy it. Hope to see you there...More information call 800-868-2322

July 2010 Events:

• Fireworks on The Pier-July 3rd, 2010 Celebrate Independence Day with the annual spectacular fireworks show at Tybee Island's Pier and Pavilion. This event starts at "dark-thirty". A sure crowd pleaser with many coming down from  The City of Savannah. So get here early to grab your favorite spot to see the fireworks.

September 2010 Events:

• Labor Day Beach Bash-September 5th, 2010 Fireworks at The Pier and Live Music all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Come down and visit our beautiful island for this annual event. This event starts at "dark-thirty".

October 2010 Events:

• Tybee Island Pirate Fest-October 7th - 9th 2010  Ahoy Mates !!! Swashbucklers of all ages will be converging on Tybee Island for the Award winning 6th Annual Tybee Island Pirate Festival. This event includes a Pirate Parade down Butler Avenue. Then it's off to the "Festival" which is held on "The Strand " (next to Tybee's Pier) Food and Drink Booth's, A Children's Activity Booth, Arts and Crafts Booth's. A Costume to Buy Booth, and many other interesting things to see. Of course there will be lots and lots of Pirates of all ages too !!! Tybee will be overrun and invaded by Pirates. All are Welcome. See you there... Arruugh !!!
