  First trip to Tybee Island, and we did not know what to expect. The view from our condo was wonderful -- one of the things we always want is to be able to actually "see the ocean" from an "ocean view" condo. The view and space were great, and we all had a wonderful time. This condo is overlooking the pool, which is convenient yet it can be noisy at times from all of the people playing down there. All in all, a great time!

  Our 2nd stay at SBRC. Good location for family. Beach, pool and housing all in one place without driving. The main beach is fun to drive to and visit, but relaxation takes place at the North end of the island at SBRC! We stayed in a one bedroom last time--this time splurged for the two bedroom condo. Lots of space in this upgrade for us.

  This is my third stay at Savannah Beach & Racquet Club and I can say that I have not been disappointed either time. 203-C was located just where I wanted to be and had a fantastic view of the beach where I watched several pods of dolphins play morning and eventings each day. The other guest were friendly and quiet; and I the beach was nearly deserted. Although the water was cold (October), it was a wonderful getaway, and I would recommend staying in this unit to anyone. Thanks for a great relaxing time!<br/><br/>

  The pool was not cleaned the entire time we were there - a lady did put chemicals in one day. Every year in the past the pool has been cleaned daily

  The unit was exceptionally clean and the kitchen well-stocked. The location of the property--in a residential neighborhood--was ideal to be away from the crowds. My boys (ages 3 & 5) enjoyed watching the freighter ships in the channel and seeing the dolphins every day. My only complaints would be small ones--we were given the wrong gate pass and had to return to the office the next day to correct the problem. This issue was handled with a smile by the Sandy's staff. Also, the pool in front of our unit was closed for cleaning 1.5 days of our stay. Small problems, no big concern. We were glad we chose the 2 bedroom unit versus the 1 bedroom with the bunk beds because we needed the space. Loved our stay and look forward to returning soon!

  It definitely wasn't a king size bed as indicated on website, but it was OK. It was nice to have the bedroom with a sliding door to the balcony. The condo was very clean and nicely done. The whirlpool tub was a treat.

  The only thing I would recommend would be to have maintenance check the batteries in the smoke alarm, as it beeped the entire time we were there due to low battery, and the tv remotes needed batteries as well (which we bought some to replace the dead ones with). Other than that, the place was emmaculate and all of the ammenities makes staying there much nicer! I can't wait to come back!!<br/><br/>Ila Perry

  the beds were awful and I plan on letting the owner of the condo know as I don't believe there is any good communication going on between sandys by the shore and the owner, unless the owner is ignoring it..there was four other comments in guest book about the condition of the beds, I feel we were robbed of a wonderful EXPENSIVE vacation due to our backs hurting becuase of the POOR condition of the beds..there were also other small problems like can opener did not work, dryer didn't work correctly and pots and pans were all rusted and scratched when we arrived.
