  The pool in the middle was little cloudy. The pool on the far side was green and had to be closed and chemicals put in it.

• This property was perfect for my wife, 19 month old son and myself. Yes , technically it would have SLEPT 6, but personally, it would have been terribly cramped for 6 people who were awake. Overall we had a lovely time and will continue to rent from

  Continued from above: Sandy in the future. She went above and beyond what any business owner typically does. Briefly, a week before our holiday, one of our beloved dogs passed away. She went out of her way to accomodate our need for a possible change in our reservation. A couple days later, we also received a very kind note of condolence.

  The only thing missing from kitchen was a blender to make frozen treats such as margaritas which I love. Fortunately we brougt our own. Sandy may want to add tht to the kitchen. Other than that everything was wonderful.

  my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at Savannah Beach & Raquet Club. Great location to watch the ships and walk on the beach. The staff at Sandy's is the best. This is our second stay with them (Sandy's) and both have been very pleasant.

  To most, this would have been the vacation from **** - rain every day, turned cold last several days, food poisoning from a restaurant meal - lovely. Yet, there was enough breaks in the rain to hit every place we wanted to see in Charleston and Savannah, wife did all the outlets and stores she wanted for Xmas shopping, and even laying on the couch recovering from a bad meal, the view of the ship channel was worth the whole trip, particularly when the bottlenose started feeding 50 feet off the beach. This is the second str8 year we've booked the same condo - plan on being back in April for the Magnolia Gardens - enough said?

  Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. I do think that the extra charges for cleaning and processing the reservation are a little high. An $80 cleaning fee just seems high to me.

  For the ultimate beach vacation, this is it - 100' to pool, 150' to beach and a view of the bay to die for from your 2nd flr. deck to watch ocean freighters come & go, dolphins gliding by, fishing or wading by house on long, flat beach where you can cut the kids loose, all a half mile from the ocean. Breakfast Club, Sunrise, Cafe Loco, Crab Shack all local eateries with character but superb seafood and specialities & we're not even into Savannah's places like The River House Inn or the fabulous city itself. <br/>208B is a studio apartment sized unit fit for 2 people (with 2 small kids). More adults would be cramped. Being a seaside unit at the end of season, the carpet was ready for a cleaning but otherwise the unit was clean & quite acceptable, minus a little wear & tear here and there.<br/>This unit was not our first choice but PIRATEFEST providentially forced us into this unit and Sandy's proved to provide superior service - beginning to end.<br/>We'll be back!

  DVD player available - did not work (Rainy days a plus)Rented movies and returned. Never assume.<br/>Spider webbing seriously in corner of living room all the way down the wall. Webbing in bedroom also. Cleaning could improve. Otherwise, enjoyed the entire week. Hope to come next year. C and K

  The location was small, but the view was great and the beach was never crowded. Pools were nice. The unit was in bad need of a deep cleaning...bugs in the lights, dust/cobwebs everywhere, trash under the couch and beds. Once cleaned up, it will make a good, relatively cheap stay.

  I am not sure the place was clean before we arrived. There was cereal on the coffee table and floor, and the toilet needed cleaning. I paid a cleaning fee and I imagine the folks before be did? The pools were in excellent shape. We did have a scare. Someone had been in the condo while we were gone, left a drink bottle. nothing was disturbed. Management was unable to tell me who was in our condo. this left us a little disturbed being two women traveling alone. upon checkout, it was explained that cleaning lady was in there. She had been given the wrong key. I love Tybee and have been coming for years. I would stay at SBRC again even though the place was not clean as promised because of location.
