  The week at the beach was great. Sandy's by the Sea was a wonderful realty company and all the people were friendly and helpful. The main problem we had was with our sliding glass door sticking and not enough kitchen supplies, but overall it was wondeerful.

  My overall experience was fantastic. The rental was in a great location right on the beach, and when we arrived the home was very clean. The vacation rental staff was more than helpful and I would definately recommend this condo to my friends.

  The master bedroom lacked privacy due to curtains being missing at doors.(Had to tape a sheet up), and the couch needed a good cleaning.

  Tybee Island was a great place for a family vacation. We were impressed at the cleanliness of the beach and the streets. Everyday there were workers out picking up trash and making sure everything was in order. The Sandpiper was a really nice condo, located in the middle of everything going on, which my teenagers liked, yet it was quiet and peaceful at night. The gated parking was great also. Make sure you check out the Crab Shack while you are there, it's something to see!

  I would tell people this property has some drawbacks. Although it is oceanfront in a good location, when you sit on the balcony, you can't see the ocean because the paneled railings block the view. Also, the one of the bathtubs and the tile entryway still had sand on them from the previous renters! Could have been cleaned better. Plus the sliding door to the balcony broke while we were there and so you had to go thru the master bedroom to get to the balcony.<br/>Next, the door to the master bedroom only had a thin sheer on it. Meaning whoever was in the living room could see into the master bedroom even if the door was closed. The kitchen was NOT well stocked with glasses, plates, bowls or cooking items. We had to go purchase plastic cups, plates, and bowls. So don't plan on cooking much with the limited pots and pans. Lastly, some of the living room furniture is getting stained and this place is really showing signs of high wear and tear. We had a good vacation, but i won't stay in this unit again. But i would rent from Sandy's again, they were very good.

  This is a 1st floor unit. The road in front was being torn up the entire time, unbearable noise, dust. Complained about it to Sandy's and they said, "Oh, that's too bad." Even without the construction, delivery vehicles are always pulling up right in front of balcony, ruining the peaceful ocean view aspect of things. Glass bedroom doors had no blinds - had to hang bedspread over them for privacy. The hot water reeked of sulphur. Lots of noise from nearby bars letting out at 2 in the morning. Really don't recommend this unit. Irresponsible of Sandy's to not mention the construction when we rented.

  Our only complaint was that the re-model of the home wasn't 100% complete. There was a large mirror left propped up on the floor, as well as boxes of furniture that had yet to be assembled. Many of the bedrooms were also short on furniture (TV's, nightstands. etc.). Otherwise the house was great and we enjoyed the stay very much.
